★ WEEK TWO: FORWARD MOVEMENT ★

[A lot has happened in a few short days.

Arche has grown a great deal from her interactions with the assembled agents of the facility; thanks to their influence, her chamber has taken on a few new additions, including a rapidly filling curio cabinet and, more recently, an orange and black Maine Coon kitten has come to stay in the facility as well. Thanks to Ginti's advice, he is no longer confined to his transparent tank in Arche's Chamber; in fact, you may see him wandering around during the week. Please be kind to the local wildlife!

On a more serious note, Arche has located one of her missing memory cores, which comes with some...vaguely unsettling information surrounding it. But, since the general consensus seemed to be "yes, we'll help", she is now hard at work securing the gateway to the pocket dimension; if asked, she will approximate that it will take her until late Thursday night to get everything up to scratch.

In the meantime, she's helpfully provided some recommendations for people to work on this week, in preparation for this week. If you need something to think about, you might try working on one of those?

Would it bother you if any of them died? Not just for directive reasons. Would you dislike it, would it make you mad, that sort of thing.

I know I'm kind of a weird case. Shijima's a weird case, and Kouichi's a weird case. But the others can die. Would that bother you?

I know someone, Nona - I think she'd look at it like she failed if something happened to me or a couple of the other guys she knows. She wouldn't feel anything about it, though, because she just doesn't. So she'd be more bothered by the failure than anything to do with us, you know?

Oh, Nona's my boss - she's up on the 90th floor of the tower 'cause she's in charge of it. She's real smart, doesn't take crap from anyone. Stronger than pretty much everyone, even me, and she plays pool with Oculus a lot - he's second in line to become God, and she beats him every damn time.

Nah, she's just good at what she does. She's been around for over eighty years, so she's had time to get herself together.

Yeah. She trained me, she trained Decim - he works five floors down. Probably trained a lot of the others, too. She makes sure things don't go off the rails too badly, or at least she's supposed to. And she makes sure none of us get sent people who've done things that we can't handle. That sort of thing.

Nona'd get really pissed at me if I told you yes flat-out, but I think so, yeah. She's always trying to tell me depth doesn't matter in the tower, but that doesn't change the fact that she's up on the ninetieth damn floor.
